- Traditional training programs do not prepare principals to lead school transformation.
- Traditional principal training program of the past has widened not closed the persistent achievement gap.
- Research show that a high percentage of underperforming schools are disproportionately populated by minoritized students and led by principals unprepared to lead school transformation.
- Ineffective principals are correlated to student learning loss especially students of color.
