No More Failing Schools (NMFS) is led by Dr. Tonya Strozier. Dr. Strozier is a principal, researcher, and scholar with a proven track record of transforming underperforming schools. Delivering on her promise to change learning outcomes for students, she recently transformed a school from a "D" to a "B" letter grade rating. Her innovative leadership has impacted charter, district, magnet, and virtual learning environments. NMFS created Arizona Academy of School Leadership (AASL) to train leaders to use proven innovative, school-based strategies to lead the transformation of low performing schools while also diversifying the leadership talent pipeline in Arizona.

NMFS, a nonprofit organization, believes failing schools can negatively impact the trajectory of all children especially those traditionally underserved. As such, we seek to improve school outcomes by focusing on transformative school leadership and the way in which students learn. We negate the harm of low performing schools by developing equity centered school leaders that leverage innovation and utilize proven transformative practices. We transform learning by creating innovative learning solutions, providing resources to teachers and students, and remove barriers to traditional and nontraditional modes of learning..
